Let me teach you the ENGAGED INHALE

Let me teach you the ENGAGED INHALE

Let me take you through step-by-step, how to do an ENGAGED INHALE for improved lung capacity, diaphragm strength, core strength, and spinal stability

1. Exhale to the end of your breath. When you think you’re finished exhaling, try to blow a birthday candle out for two more seconds to feel those obliques and deep abs turn on.

2. At this point, you take two sniffs of air through the nostrils, each lasting 1 second, breathing into your engaged abs from your engaged forceful exhalation.

3. This sets you up for your next ENGAGED EXHALE, starting from a place of bracing, tightening that ribbon at the base of your ribs, or you can try my Ab-ribbon to give you feedback that you’re breathing low to support spinal stability, improved lung capacity, and diaphragmatic strength.
