It’s amazing how much more mobile you will become in your hips if you learn to stabilize your lower back during movement, such as this… What does that mean?

Joints alternate between being mobile and immobile from the top of the head down to your feet.

For example, your knee is not supposed to be mobile, where is your hip is mobile… If you’re properly alternating up the chain, your lower back is supposed to be stable.

Not only will you be able to enhance your range of motion at your hips when your lower back is more stable, but you will also protect the sensitive structures of your lumbar spine, which are predisposed to disc damage with excessive improper movement under resistance.
